The meeting began at 12:30. One guest was present. Due to a small attendance, each member introduced him or herself. The small attendance was attributed to the fact that Thursday classes had ended for the session,
President Alexander announced that meeting minutes were available on the Club web site and in a notebook in our library. Further decisions about the website: no commercial ads will be aired; exchange of news with other art groups will be honored via written request to the president or Terry Wallace, our contact for all website information. Individual photos will again be taken at the January membership meeting for those not yet pictured on the site. Members will have an additional opportunity to authorize personal information on the website through the winter registration form. The newsletter featuring this form should be in the homes next week.
Two of our missing library books were inadvertently returned to the Denver Public Library and have been retrieved.
Several member suggestions were referred to the next Board meeting: 1) the club investigate locating a replacement refrigerator for the downstairs kitchen at the church. 2) why so much downtime between fall and winter classes. Could we start winter classes before the new year, or have 12-week fall sessions or two, 6-week class sessions. 3) would we consider a critique-only class with Pat Fostvedt.
The meeting was adjourned and Gary Michaels presented a fine demo in oils.
