A CALL FOR ARTISTS

The Art of Stewardship During COVID-19

Commemorating the response to care for public lands during the pandemic

What will be the defining part of today’s COVID-19 pandemic? As the coronavirus requires us to endure an unprecedented time of physical distancing, donning of personal protection gear, and disruption in our daily lives, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is calling on Colorado artists to help capture this historic moment while supporting volunteer stewardship of our public lands.

On September 16th, 2020, VOC will host its sixth annual Uniquely Colorado event. However, this year we will be MASKerAIDing as Uniquely Colorado, hosting a virtual celebration of stewardship and public lands in the pandemic era!

The event will include an exciting new element: an auction of pandemic-inspired art pieces by Colorado artists. Forty percent (40%) of the proceeds from each piece of artwork will directly support VOC’s volunteer stewardship efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, while providing a platform to inspire and showcase your work.
