Plein Air Painting: Pine Valley Ranch Park

Part of Jefferson Co. open space. Scenic area on the N. fork of the S. Platte River. Small lake with mountain view. Cliffs rise above river. Take U.S. Highway 285 to pine Junction. (about 29 miles on 285, from Federal to Pine Junction.) Turn left our southeast onto Pine Valley Road (County Road 126) Continue 5.8 miles to the town of Pine, and follow the signs to the park. Water and restrooms and tables.
