ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
My name is Helen Lozynsky and I was introduced to this ancient from of decorating eggs as a teenager. I've taught or demonstrated this class for many years including art clubs, garden club, church groups, Tagawa and Meininjgers. I also consider myself a avid gardener and have used the garden to dye eggs. Pysanky as an art form is an inexpensive way to express ones creativity using few tools, one reason why it spread widely in slavic countries and enduring for centuries.
