- Professional Supplies Provided: Instructor supply all essential materials, including primary colors, opaque white, versatile brushes, and heavy-weight paper. All items are of professional artist grade.

  • Bonnie will bring all materials: 
  • 140lb watercolor paper, brushes 
  • 25 designer's gouaches (or more)
  • Water containers
  • Gator boards for securing works 
  • Painter's tape
  • Pencils
  • Handouts, 
  • Color wheels for use during class 
  • Value chart for use during class
  • Visual aids and a whole lot of excitement.


SUPPLIES TO BRING

This class serves as a delightful introductory taste test to gouache, allowing you to explore the medium without the pressure of purchasing all the supplies in case it doesn't resonate with you.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Bonnie Stolzmann is a distinguished fine artist and illustrator based in Denver, renowned for her dynamic and engaging approach to both art and education. With a passion for inspiring creators of all ages, she has taught art classes that empower students to unlock their full potential through hands-on exploration of new materials and techniques.

Her exceptional scientific illustrations have been published in collaboration with **The Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, The University of California, Harvard University, and The Jepson Herbarium.
