Discover the relaxing and creative art of needle felting in this beginner-friendly class! You’ll learn how to transform soft wool fibers into charming three-dimensional figures using simple needle-felting techniques.
No previous experience is needed. We’ll cover the basics of working with wool, shaping and sculpting forms, adding details, and safely using felting needles. Step by step, you’ll create your own adorable 3D figure while learning techniques you can continue using for future projects.
You'll leave with a handmade felted figure and the skills to keep creating. Come enjoy a cozy, hands-on creative experience and discover just how fun needle felting can be!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Nela joined the Park Hill Art Club in August, 2026. She is a retired Elementary School teacher. She taught summer art classes to children; Spanish classes to groups of adults and individuals. Nela has also taught needle felting classes to adults and young adults. She has been working on needle felting for the last five years and has participated in several Artisan Markets selling her products.
